Seafarers Board Boxes are Here!

Hi everyone,
The Seafarers Board boxes arrived, so production will begin either tomorrow or Thursday depending on how long it takes to swap out the mold.
So many boxes
Apologies for the delay in getting the RCH's out to everyone who pledged above $100, our Amazon inventory ran out unexpectedly (we've been experimenting with advertising software that turned out to work pretty well) and we've been scrambling to restock. We'll start shipping those RCH's out soon.
Also, we're going to be doing a big preorder run of 500 units of our 5-6 player bamboo board. The preorder campaign will launch October 1st and close on October 31st or as soon as the 500 sell out. We want to make sure we don't have any production issues for Christmas since we're producing for the Collector's Series campaign as well, so we're closing sales on the 5-6 player bamboo board and 3-4 player bamboo board after the preorder campaign completes. We'll re-open sales after the Christmas season.
We want to make sure everybody on our mailing lists and on Kickstarter have first dibs on the run for Christmas delivery, so we'll send out a notice on Thursday once the preorders are up. We'll also be making engraving available again just for this Christmas run.
No other bamboo products will be available for sale after this preorder campaign closes, in order to ensure that our Collector's Series campaign is fulfilled on time. We do hope to start new orders for all of our products in the New Year though. :-)

Seafarers and RCH Update

Hi everyone just a quick note to let you know that we haven't begun SF board production yet, but are waiting on the boxes.
We'll begin shipping the RCH shipments for those pledges above $100 starting next Monday.
Those pledged at the Complete Package $100 level will receive their RCH when their Seafarers board ships in the SF box that's designed for it.
Fits up to two sets of RCH per SF box. Default shipment is one set, but additional $10 increment pledgers will get the second set. All other variations will be sent in a separate envelope at the same time as the SF board shipments.
Seafarers Mold is headed back from polishing

Hi everyone,
The Seafarers board mold completed polishing yesterday and is headed back up to our shop today. I asked the polisher to take pictures during his process so that I could share them with you, so here they are.
They first have to polish out the machining marks.
Then they bead blast it to create the smooth, matte textured finish that will be on the upper surface of the part.
They also did a great job on getting rid of the Catan logo. Looks like it was never there.
The mold all packaged up and ready to be freighted up to us.

RCH Shipping Started

Hi everyone,
I've been battling some kind of bug over the weekend, so this morning I didn't go setup the Settlers boxes for shipment, but did get the RCH shipments ready. The RCH orders are ready to go for those who pledged at the $10 level.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel up to snuff again and should be able to get the Settlers boxes out. Have been drinking excessive amounts of tea and lemon juice. Thanks.
